Through Rowland Medical Library, UMMC students and faculty have access to BoardVitals, a comprehensive question-and-answer bank produced by TDS Health. This resource offers USMLE-style questions that are useful for self-assessment and board exam preparation.
In BoardVitals, users can choose between two distinct interfaces:
- Enhanced Learning Interface: This option integrates various tools designed to optimize learning and study efficiency.
- NBDE Board Exam Interface: This interface simulates the actual exam experience, replicating its features, appearance, and functionality.
Students can choose to view answers and explanations either during or after quiz completion, making BoardVitals a flexible and responsive self-directed learning tool.
Additionally, BoardVitals provides full-length practice exams for Step 1 and Step 2, with format, length, and interface that closely mimic a real test day experience.
